Our humorous retro FPS Fashion Police Squad is out now on PS5 with a Metacritic score of 77! News & Announcements
Hey peeps, Pat from Mopeful Games here! Wanted to let you know that our fab retro shooter came out on PS5 this Thursday. The game made by 3 people is a humorous retro FPS where you use attire enhancing weaponry to turn fashion criminals into fabulous fashionistas! It’s got juicy gunplay, terrible puns and fun movement mechanics.

One thing that surprised us is that the game got a Metacritic score on PS5 of 77 with 5 reviews right off the bat, so that was cool. Check out some reviews and pick it up if it feels like something you’re into!

Gyro aiming and portable on Switch is where I see this one landing for me. It looks dope. After dead space.

Shit, didn't know it was out. With Hogwarts Legacy and PowerWash Simulator, that's three big games I wanted in one month.
Just purchased it. Going to play a few missions in the morning. And BTW, having enemies only damaged by specific weapons is a great idea.

Awww, not a premium Ps plus game (Sadface)...
I'm sure I'll get to it eventually, it does look like a lot of silly fun!

What was it like developing for a ps5? Did you need a special dev console?

We had our friends do the porting and PS5 didn't need any optimizations which was nice. I think they have a devkit yeah.

That's freaking cool. I've always wanted to play around with that kind of stuff, but I have near zero coding skills. Learned c++ on Borland back in 2000...

Yeah the fact that this small dev can implement gyro aiming but it doesn't exist in 99% of shooters is crazy. Gyro aiming is so good. I will be picking this game up

I recommend that you turn gyro sens to max, at least the horizontal, and do small slight movements so that it doesnt drift

I dunno if mouse & keyboard works on PS5, but there's an ability to rebind keys.
It's on Steam as well!

I will give you props just for adding gyro, not many devs do it and i love you for it
The game seems super fun and funky from what i see, the only issue i can tell you right away is that gyro aiming, although It feels smooth with small movements, seems to drift a bit with larger ones. Is It maybe because of gyro being set to roll instead of yaw? I think thats fine, but there should be an option to swap gyro to yaw since many people prefer that
All in all i am definitely going to keep playing, thank you for this fun game!

This was made in Unity with a team of 3 and some freelancers for music etc.

I think the main issue in the gyro is the fact that its emulating stick instead of mouse. Its still playable but mouse would feel way more natural and precise. Examples of good mouse gyro implementations on console would be fortnite, Cod mw2 and deathloop

I don't have a PC at the moment, but am considering building one. Will probably pick it up on console though when I clear some games off my backlog.

I love it, bought and completed in one sitting over the weekend. Had a lot of fun and laughed a lot. My only gripe might be that the screen tearing is quite noticeable at first, took me a little to get used to it. Otherwise a total blast, might even work on the plat.
The first boss was one of the best video game bosses I’ve played in a long time, awesome!!
